Notes about in house or in patient treatment to Ayurvedic traditional Panchakarma therapy.
Those who are coming from outside, those who have serious health issues are requested to bring a friend or a relative or a bystander. Then only hospital will be able to take the responsibility to treat them. Sometimes foreigners will come alone, so it is difficult for us to do all the procedures. So one bystander is needed.
2. How many days will a patient stay?
Based on the clinical picture of the patient he or she may be advised to stay for 10 days, 14 days, and 21 days. Sometimes he or she may be advised to stay for more days. Only after thorough clinical examination the chief doctor will be able to decide about the number days needed.
3. What is the difference between taking medicines in the home and getting admitted in your hospital?
While you are coming as Outpatient unit you get maximum 10 to 15 minutes to interact with the doctor. Most of the diseases are solved with OP treatment. Chronic diseases need IP treatment. Sometimes we have to do trial and error method by changing the medicines based on the clinical conditions which are called avastha, for which the patients should be admitted. Physician should observe and use the medicines frequently. Only by admission this is possible. More over detoxification is possible only in inpatient unit which needs meticulous treatment plan and physician’s care. The panel of doctors will be alongside the patient in the Inpatient unit. This is the significance of inpatient treatment over the OP treatment.
4. What type of food we can get in the hospital?
We advice less spicy, less oily, vegetarian diet for patients. We can arrange food for bystanders nearby Tiffin centers.
